Bleachers and Bagpipes
This Thursday, we started the day working at the front gardens of The Residence. Rocco and I spread mulch in the front gardens by hand because of how many delicate flowers we had packed into the beds while Mrs. Allen and Camryn planted in a smaller bed on the side. While we were working on doing that, the bleachers for graduation were being put up by the crews. The bleachers where the students sit were already assembled and the far side bleachers were being put up. While we worked side by side, I heard the bagpipes practicing in the distance. We were working in silence by ourselves for the most part, so I got some time to think about those two things: the bagpipes and bleachers. My mind wandered back to the first Oracle I saw my freshman year, back when it was still a physical newspaper.
